Table runners
And now, a pleasantly pink table runner:
When I was cutting fabric for the napkins, I ended up with a few 15" strips of fabric left over. I figured this was a good size for a table runner so I cut some white fabric into 15" strips, sewed all the strips together and ta-da...instant table runner.
I had to seam the back since the runner was longer than 42" so I decided to include some fun patchwork.
There's a layer of cotton batting inside and I bound the edges just like I would for a quilt. It was a fun project...now I just need to make one for myself. I have a table and what's a table without a runner? Pretty much a wasted table, in my opinion.

I'm so glad your headache has gone - you do seem to be plagued by them. I'm glad a sleep and a bit of creative therapy did the trick!
ReplyDeleteI glad to hear your headache has finally gone away. The napkins and runner are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletei absolutely think you do have to make yourself a table runner, too. it is so pretty! anything you show on your blog is just pretty to perfection, lemme say that :)
ReplyDeletethanks for the mozzarella recipe on your blog! i went to whole foods on monday, wanted to make it, but neither they nor any other healthnut store apparently had vegetable rennet. so i ordered it online and next week will be crystal's mozzarella week. officially. national :)
