Table runners

And now, a pleasantly pink table runner:

When I was cutting fabric for the napkins, I ended up with a few 15" strips of fabric left over. I figured this was a good size for a table runner so I cut some white fabric into 15" strips, sewed all the strips together and ta-da...instant table runner.

I had to seam the back since the runner was longer than 42" so I decided to include some fun patchwork.

There's a layer of cotton batting inside and I bound the edges just like I would for a quilt. It was a fun project...now I just need to make one for myself. I have a table and what's a table without a runner? Pretty much a wasted table, in my opinion.

  1. I'm so glad your headache has gone - you do seem to be plagued by them. I'm glad a sleep and a bit of creative therapy did the trick!
