Camper Quilt

My friend Karrie loves to camp.  She asked me to sew her a quilt for her and her husband to use in their camper, something that would fit on the oddly sized camper mattress.  

I had a ton of camping themed fabrics left over from the quilt I made for my dad, so I got to work building a new color palette for Karrie's quilt.

I wanted to feature some of the cute camper prints and thought the frame pattern from my dad's quilt would really show them off.  

I know I say this about almost all my quilts, but this one turned out to be one of my favorites.  I really love the color scheme, and the fabrics, and I love the pattern, and it was fun to make.  

It was also really fun to make a quilt for my friend and to know that it would keep her warm on those cool summer nights under the stars.
