Shhhh...

Do you remember the "low volume" quilt movement?  Low volume fabrics were everywhere and I was in love with the idea!  

The idea for this quilt came directly from a summer coverlet I had made a few years before.  I wanted to recreate the magic of the summer quilt in a warmer version.

I knew from the start that I wanted to try some really fun quilting on this one.  For more info on the quilting, see this post.

And then, as happens with most of my quilts, my friend Ginny saw this one and fell in love.  So I gave it to her.
