Bzzzzzzzzz!

Once upon a time I wanted to make a quilt using large orange and yellow hexagons. It was inspired by the bee episode of Pushing Daisies.
I paper pieced a million hexagons, sewed four of them together, hated them...and put them away, no longer interested in my idea.

But I had a million little trimmings from all those hexagons. I started sewing them together which made wonky, scrappy little hexagons. Which I loved!

So, that's how this tiny baby quilt came to be. It was finished years ago but never had a good home. My friend Linda gave it to her nephew which made me very happy.
The end.
