Around the Seven Seas

Throughout the years I collected designer quilting fabrics, there were a few designers who remained my absolute favorites.  Tula Pink was always very high on my list.  Her colors, her themes, her clever hidden animals...everything about her work is perfection!

But when she came out with her Neptune collection, I was obsessed!!!!  I collected every single print in that collection...I almost went broke!  

Then when her Saltwater collection came out, I bought all those prints too.

I had always wanted to put them together into a quilt, and to keep it for myself.  I've always loved Around the World quilts and these fabrics worked really well in the pattern.

The front is entirely Neptune, the back is a combination of Neptune and Saltwater.  It's quilted in a seaweed type design which was a fun, new quilt design for me.

I managed to keep this quilt despite my friend Linda really liking this one when she saw it.  In fact, I made her her own version because I couldn't part with it.  If I can say no to Linda, you know I'm seriously in love!
