I'm Only 99% Perfect, Apparently
During my blog break, I sewed my very first Y-seam:

Huh...something is not quite right here. My second attempt resulted in a too-small block but at least I got the seams right.

It's been a few months since my first block and I've worked out a pretty reliable way to make these cute frames. I'm excited to tell you more about this quilt but it'll be just a little bit before I can do a proper post. There's some embroidery that needs to happen first...stay tuned!
